Feedback

I have a new template for my blog.

I am currently bankrupt of new writing ideas and too lazy to build on ideas that I already have. But I had to do something with my blog this week - so I took the easy way out and got myself a new template.

And I am mighty kicked about it.

But at the same time, dear reader, I need your feedback. You are the reason I write. Your comments have encouraged me and kept me going despite my lazy self. Your feedback has helped me improve.

While I am pleased with the template, there is a part of me which fears that my obsession with reinvention might take away from your reading pleasure.

Help me out and tell me what you think.

Feed-back on the template - tell me if I should keep this one or go back to the earlier design. And if you feel like it, feel free to feed-back on anything that you wish to about this blog.

I realize that I wont be able to keep everyone happy all the time - but I promise to take majority opinion into account.

I liked the earlier one but this one is nice too.. not really for the professional look as Choco said, but for the way the blogroll looks now really :D

I like it too. Looks well balanced, textwise. Like Choco said, also easy to read. Simple yet effective!

This one is superb dude!
But it looks a bit incomplete, add a few more widgets though.
And as everyone said, the old template sucked, this one is great and will give you an edge for your posts by boosting their aesthetic value!

Happy Independence Day mate!
Cheers, and waiting for a proper post from you!

The first time I stumbled on to your blog.

Why the play with all dark colors - blacks and greys.. Gives it quite a dull look, don't you think?

i liked the new look

its plain, professional, simple and neat

I like this one much better. Its neater and less cluttered. The other one had one box in the beginning which said -"things which u dont need to know" or something. I hated it.

And the colours now are little less galring..in fact , more ordered. I like this.

Keep it.

This one is better, easier to navigate and find what you want. Having some white space really helps cut down on the clutter. You made a great choice. The one negative I can see – the mystery is gone.

People,

Thank You. I am glad you liked it. And I am keeping it...

Cheers

Content is king dude. And looking at your past record, you're doing pretty well in that department. So people are going to visit, even if you have cyan text on magenta background.
This look rocks though. Keep it. Up.

Like it. As long as it's not pink or purple or has text that you can't read because you decided to get creative and choose some unusual, light glow-in-the-dark color...i like it. I'm funny with the color pink. Sometimes I go on blogs that are soooo pinkish and if their blog is any good, I would never know, because I quickly link out. I can't take that color! Find it to be very visually disturbing...LOL!

Why no new post?

First, let me say, black backgroungs and white type are a bad combination.Studies and trials by graphic designers ( I was one for 40 years) have shown they slow reading and fatigue the eye. They look good, but they really don't wear well. I recently had to change my template because my blog became too crowded with ads, gadgets, and blogrolls, that I started over and made a much cleaner looking easier-to-read blog. It's at countsneakysjournal.blogspot.com. I would experiment some with Bloogers
temlates otry some of the other free Blogger compatible blog sites. But blogs are basically about writing and there you are doing well. If you hit a dry spell, just let your mind meander
and keep a note book with you all the time and write the creative thoughts down. They are very slippery goldfish!
My best. Count Sneaky
